Police Find Car Used In Miami Beach Taxi Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami Beach police have caught break in their investigation into a shooting Monday which left two people injured.

The car used in the shooting was located in Miami near NW 2nd Avenue and 62nd Street.

Monday morning around 3 a.m. two people were in the back of a Flamingo at 41st Street and Pine Tree Drive when four men inside a red BMW open fire on the rear passenger seat, the rear window was blown out by bullets.

One person in the passenger seat was grazed by a bullet, the other was shot in the head and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Miami Beach police have not said what may have led to the shooting or why the passengers may have been targeted.
