MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The principal of an adult education center is in trouble with the law.
Miami -Dade Police arrested Jean Ridore Tuesday morning. He has since bonded out.
He works as the principal at the North Miami Adult Education Center.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office says Ridore is facing several charges including unlawful compensation, official misconduct and grand theft.
Investigators said an undercover officer posed as a handyman looking for a school position and Ridore accepted $1,000 in cash in exchange for hiring the handyman.
