MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The often-outspoken wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes bonded out of jail early Monday morning, following her arrest outside of Sun Life Stadium.

Tamiko "Miko" Grimes walked out of jail around 3 a.m., still wearing her Dolphins shirt, saying nothing, with her hands behind her back.

Just a day before, Miami-Dade police took Miko Grimes into custody before the game between the Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.

They charged Grimes with battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

Police say while officers tried to control crowds outside the stadium, Miko Grimes, walked toward a restricted area.  According to police, An officer told her loudly to stop, but the woman refused and kept walking. The officer then told her she was under arrest, but Grimes got away and continued to walk to the restricted area.

Other officers caught up with Grimes, whom they say became belligerent and charged at them. She yelled obscenities and told them, "you can't tell me what to do."

After tussling with Grimes and subduing her on the ground, officers say Grimes head butted a female officer.

Cell phone video shot by someone in the crowd and posted on social media shows police have Grimes on the ground, her hands cuffed behind her. She's kicking and flailing, yelling at officers, "Are you 'expletive' kidding me?"

Moments later you see her laying on a golf cart as police take her through the stadium tunnels to their holding area.

While Dolphins cornerback, Brent Grimes is known to be soft-spoken, Miko Grimes has made a name for herself for being exactly the opposite. She's grabbed headlines for criticizing the NFL. She's also very outspoken on social media and on her afternoon radio show on South Florida's WQAM sports radio which is owned by CBS.

"I'm strong. I'm aggressive. I lift weights," Miko Grimes said recently on the air. "There's nothing punk about me."

Miko Grimes said during one of her shows,"I thought I was bad guy for like five years now and now all of a sudden, I'm a national bad guy."

WQAM radio said Monday Grimes is off the air for the time being.

Coach Joe Philbin said Monday he is aware of the allegations but didn't have all the facts.

Teammate Michael Thomas said Brent Grimes is handling the situation as best he can.

"We are all dealing with issues. He will be alright,"said Thomas.
