SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The Florida Panthers opened their 2015 training camp on Thursday at the Panthers Ice Den in Coral Springs.

The Cats also made a splash on the first day of camp by signing young scorer Jonathan Huberdeau to a new 2-year deal.

The team will begin its preseason schedule on Sunday when they travel to Nashville for a split-squad doubleheader against the Predators.

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Panthers heading into this season, and for good reason.

The youth movement that general manager Dale Tallon has been implementing over the past several years is beginning to transition from 'full of potential' to 'on-ice achievements'.

The enthusiasm around the team can be seen on many levels, one of which being the local television coverage of the Panthers.

Fox Sports Florida and the Panthers announced on Thursday that the network would be broadcasting all but one of the team's 82-game regular season schedule.

The only game not on FSN is a nationally broadcast game against the Washington Capitals on February 2nd.

The full broadcast schedule can be found by clicking here.

CBS4 Sports Anchor Steve Goldstein continues to be the Cats excellent play-by-play announcer. He's joined by NHL Hall of Fame defenseman Denis Potvin as the color analyst, providing viewers with expert commentary on a gamely basis.

The broadcasts will be hosted by Craig Minervini, alongside 13-year NHL veteran and former Panthers radio play-by-play voice Randy Moller in his new role as analyst.  Minervini and Moller will anchor the pregame, intermission and postgame of every FSN Panthers broadcast.

Jessica Blaylock will also join the broadcast team as a reporter for select home games throughout the season, providing access to players and coaches on the bench and in the locker room.

The Panthers will face the Philadelphia Flyers in their season opener at the BB&T Center on Saturday, October 10th at 7 p.m. You can hear every game on Sports Radio 560 WQAM, the radio home of the Florida Panthers.
