Teen Found Dead After Removing Clothes, Running Into Woods

BROOKSVILLE (CBSMiami/AP) — A teen who took off all his clothes and ran into the woods after leaving a party at a Tampa Bay area home was found dead, authorities said.

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office reports that 18-year-old Dylan J. Thornton was found dead in a field Thursday morning, more than a mile away from the Brooksville home where he was last seen Sunday night.

Friends who were with Thornton when he left the party told deputies that Thornton was possibly using illegal drugs and may have been suffering from an "altered state."

Authorities haven't released a cause of death.
