Gridiron Grill-Off: Eat & Drink Local

Are you ready to dine on decadent grilled entrees and expertly paired wines from South Florida's top restaurants? Then you won't want to miss the sixth annual "John Offerdahl's Broward Health® Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival" with special guest Adam Richman on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater.

Guests will sample dishes from the hottest South Florida restaurants on the scene. Rebel House and 13 American Table in Boca Raton are gastropubs serving innovative dishes in chic, eclectic atmospheres. Fort Lauderdale's Grille 401, YOLO, 15th Street Fisheries, Mai Kai, Beauty and the Feast and Piccolo Ristorante will bring their own unique style to this year's competition. Joining the event for the first time, The Oceanaire Seafood Room and newly opened Naked Taco will represent Miami.

Fine dining takes center field as each team – a restaurant chef and a Miami Dolphins legend – creates one signature grilled entrée paired with premium Gallo wines. Past mouthwatering dishes have included Chipotle Wagyu Ribs, Filet Mignon with Napa Cabernet Butter Sauce, Tikka Masala Grilled Pork and Ox Tail with Horseradish Panna Cotta Tart.

The $85 Grand Grill-Off ticket will give attendees, 21 and older, the opportunity to enjoy culinary delights from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The $125 VIP ticket package will include a signed copy of Adam Richman's book, "Straight Up Tasty," as well as early access into the Grand Grill-Off starting at noon.
