MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Dolphins Wide Receiver Jarvis Landry is expected to have a big season after a very successful rookie campaign in 2014.
The ascending receiver sits down with CBS4 Jim Berry to talk about the upcoming season, music and more at A1A guitars in Dania Beach.
Landry not only plays football in the NFL, he also plays the guitar.
"It started when I was young," Landry said of playing the guitar. "I feel in love with music, being around it, being from Louisiana, being New Orleans Jazz."
The interview also gets personal when talking about his mother and what she means to him.
"When I was 12 years old, she gave up custody of me, for 2 years," he said. "Then I all could think of was my mom doesn't want me anymore, she kinda gave up on more, as I got older, as I saw the things she sacrificed, her work ethic, the things she did to make it possible for me to be here now. I thank her so much, because i know what those things mean."
