Russell: Football is 'One of Safest Sports in World' With Proper Coaching
Is football getting to the point where parents are starting to hesitate over letting their kids play in fear of a potential serious injury down the line?
"If you have a job where you use your body to earn a living it's the same thing," former Miami Dolphin Twan Russell said on the Joe Rose Show.
"It's the same hazards. It's not every single football player that has those challenges. The game of football is one of the safest sports in the world if you have the proper coaching."
Russell serves as the Senior Director of Community Affairs and the Miami Dolphins Foundation.
