“I really don’t see them signing him,” the Sun Sentinel’s Omar Kelly said on the Joe Rose Show Monday morning. “I wish, I hope, because I want this season to be better than it has in the past but I do know they want to be patient. They want to see where Jamil Douglas is. They want to see Dallas Thomas. They really believe in Dallas Thomas and I’m surprised about that. Even guys like Mike Pouncey say ‘he’s a different player, he’s a different person, give him a chance’ and I hope they’re right.

“I just know this offensive line has ruined Dolphins’ seasons since 2010 and I just believe it will continue to ruin this season and it will continue to hold Ryan back. And I think they should do better than that. I really think that they should fix it. They have an opportunity to fix it with a great player but I understand why they won’t because he’s an expensive player and they’re committed to addressing this issue with what they have in-house. ”
