BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — A Florida man connected to a museum theft in Boise, Idaho has turned himself in, police said.

KTVB-TV reports that 25-year-old Moises Carranza of Boynton Beach turned himself in Wednesday and is now facing a felony burglary charge.

Police say Carranza stole an antique gun and a tomahawk from the Idaho Museum of Mining on July 29.

Police were tipped off by a citizen with information about the crime on Wednesday. Officers were then able to locate the two stolen items that had reportedly been taken.

Boise police detectives say the items will be returned to the museum.

Carranza remains held in the Ada County Jail.
