FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – An object discovered on Fort Lauderdale Beach Sunday may be a large piece of a rocket.

The metal object seems to resemble the markings of the European Union’s Galileo Satellite.

The fragment, found near 2033 N. Atlantic Boulevard, was surrounded by yellow crime scene tape.
