Surfer Bit In Foot By Shark Off Daytona Beach

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - A surfer had a closer encounter of the shark kind in the waters off Daytona Beach.
The 25-year-old man was in waist-deep water when he was bitten on the foot Sunday evening.
Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue Capt. Tamra Marris said the shark, which was not seen, caused minor lacerations.
The victim was treated at the scene and did not need to be brought to a hospital.
