Trader Joe's To Open This Fall In Davie

DAVIE (CBSMiami) - Attention Trader Joe's devotees, the wait is almost over.

The chain's seventh store in South Florida, located in the Tower Shops on University Drive in Davie, will open September 25th, according to The Sun-Sentinel.

An eighth store at at 1590 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale is under development but no opening date has been set.

The grocer, which has developed almost a cult like following, has more than 3,000 items under their Trader Joe's private label including Trader José's salsas and Trader Giotto's marinara sauces. The private label that means it's free of artificial colors, flavors, ingredients, and preservatives.

Some of the most popular are "Two Buck Chuck," bottles of wine for 2.99 a pop and Trader Joe's famous cookie butter products.
