Thousands Of Jobs Up For Grabs At Career Fair
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Amerijet International and City Furniture will be just two of the companies looking to hire at a job fair this week.
In all, nearly 40 companies will be looking to fill 2,000 positions at the career event this Wednesday, July 15th, at Don Shula's Hotel at 6842 Main Street in Miami Lakes. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ft. Lauderdale-based Amerijet International operates jet cargo services to destinations in Central America, South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. They will be at the career fair to hire import & export agents, certified forklift drivers, cargo handlers and ramp agents.
Masterpiece Stone Restoration Services is opening a new location in South Florida. They are hiring for project managers, technicians, account managers, working project managers, assistant technicians and prep/detailers.
Swissport USA Inc, a leading service company to airlines and airports, is hiring for ramp service agents, passenger service agents, cabin service agents and fueling agents.
El Dorado Furniture will be looking to hire portors, sales associates, copywriters, distribution center supervisors, customer care cashiers and customer care specialists!
CBS Radio Miami took over 2 FM stations in Miami- Power 96 & Kiss Country plus WQAM and they will be interviewing for an Integrate Marketing Project Manager, Part Time Promotions Assistant and Account Executives.
The Drug Enforcement Administration will be recruiting for Special Agents.
Park One has over 25 openings for cashiers, valet, valet managers and shift supervisors and key holders.
Dunbar Armored will be interviewing for Security Drivers/Guards at the event.

Pre-Register Online Print out your registration page and bring it with you. This is your "fast pass" into the Job Fair at 10 a.m.
Dress your absolute best. This doesn't mean you have to go out and purchase an expensive outfit, just dress clean cut and professional. Also, update your resume and bring at least 30 copies with you.
It's a good idea to do a little research in advance. Pick a few companies from the list and learn more about them online. The more you know about the company, the more you can converse with them at the event!
