Police Arrest Alleged South Florida Brush Fires Starter

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police arrested a man who they said is behind several brush fires in South Florida.
Authorities believe Erick Padron started at least three brush fires in 2014 and one in 2015.
They said he's connected to two brush fires at Larry and Penny Thompson State Park and another at Rockdale Pineland Preserve.
Forestry department officials spotted Padron on the scene taking pictures at all three fires.
He is charged with first and second-degree arson.
