CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – Police are looking for the gunmen responsible for killing a 24-year-old in Coral Gables over the weekend.

Richard Jesus Hernandez, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department, was shot and killed on the 1000 block of Salzedo Street.

The Coral Gables Police Department received a report around 1 PM about a shooting Saturday. When they arrived, they found Hernandez suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said witnesses saw two men running from the scene toward Le Jeune Road. A perimeter was set up but both men got away.

The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
