Follow CBSMIAMI.COM: Facebook | Twitter

The Dan Marino Foundation was established in 1992 by Dan and Claire Marino.

The couple, motivated by their experiences in raising their son Michael who is diagnosed with Autism, created the foundation.

Their mission is to empower individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

One of the ways it does that is with the "Summer Work Readiness Training Program" at the Marino Campus in Fort Lauderdale.

Joining Irika is Charinus Johnson, Chief Operations Officer of the Dan Marino Foundation, and Tiara Morales, a Marino Campus Student.
