Doral Drivers Face Major Road Closures Next Week

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Drivers in Doral need to be aware of several major night time road closures coming up next week.

Beginning Tuesday, June 23rd through Friday, July 3rd, all westbound lanes of NW 25th Street will be closed at NW 74th Avenue between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The closures will not happen on Saturday and Sunday.

Drivers heading west during the closure hours will be directed north on NW 72nd Avenue, then west on NW 36th Street. The will then turn south on NW 79th Avenue to access NW 25 Street

During the same time period, the two left turn lanes on the northbound SR 826 exit ramp to go west on NW 25 Street will be closed, excluding Saturday and Sunday, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Drivers can east on NW 25th Street, turn north on NW 72 ndAvenue and then go west on NW 36th Street. They can then turn south on NW 79th Avenue to access NW 25th Street

The Florida Department of Transportation says in addition to these closures, the southbound SR 826 ramp turn lane to westbound NW 25 Street will be closed the same days and same hours. Drivers will have to get off at the NW 36th Street exit, head west and the turn south on NW 79th Avenue to connect with NW 25th Street.
