LAUDERDALE LAKES (CBSMiami) — Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed an elderly woman in Lauderdale Lakes.

On Wednesday, the group issued a flyer with the newly offered reward.

Authorities said a man robbed the elderly woman at knifepoint in the elevator of her Lauderdale Lakes complex, 3099 NW 48th Avenue, on the evening of April 29th.

Cameras inside the elevator captured clear video of him during the robbery.

Officers said he was able to get away with the woman’s purse..

Investigators said he was last seen wearing dark clothes, sunglasses and a dark baseball cap with an “a” on the front.
