Boynton Beach Police Investigate Early Morning Robberies

BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating three robberies that happened within a couple block of each other and in a 15 minute time frame.

The first robbery, around 4:45 AM in the 4000 block of North Congress Avenue Tuesday, a 46-year-old woman told officers she was walking home from Dunkin Donuts when she was approached by an older model red or burgundy Toyota or Honda. She said a man exited the passenger side of the car and stole her iPhone from her hands.

While helping the woman, police said a 61-year-old man said the same thing happened to him while doing his early morning exercise in the area of Meadows Boulevard.

Police were helping the second victim when dispatch received a call about a third robbery that happened on Hypoluxo Road and Boynton Lakes Boulevard.

Police said no weapons were seen during the robberies and none of the victims were hurt.

Police are looking for three suspects, the driver and two other males in their early 20s who were about 5'8," 160 pounds with low haircuts and no facial hair wearing black t-shirts and black pants.
