Metromover System Closed Temporarily

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade County's Metromover remains shut down until 11 a.m. on Saturday.

But there are other options for those affected by the closure.

Transit officials said the closure is necessary to perform system upgrades and preventive maintenance work throughout the Metromover system.

While the system is not in service until after 11 a.m., there is a free shuttle service provided between Metromover stations every 10 to 15 minutes.
