Kyrie Irving Has Fractured Kneecap, Out For NBA Finals

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers received a massive blow early Friday evening with multiple reports indicating guard Kyrie Irving suffered a fractured kneecap in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, putting him out for the rest of the series.

An MRI revealed the fracture to his left knee and he will have surgery in Cleveland. His recovery is expected to be three to four months.

After battling knee issues throughout the playoffs, Irving left Thursday's game with an injury early in overtime of the Warriors' 108-100 victory.

Game 2 is Sunday night.
