MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – A 28-year-old Pembroke Pines woman spent five days in the hospital passing drug pellets that amounted to almost 1.5 pounds of cocaine.

Regis Shameka Walker was returning to the United States from Jamaica last Thursday when U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents took her aside for an interview and baggage search, according to investigators.

Walker agreed to an X-ray, the Sun Sentinel reports, which revealed she was carrying drug pellets inside her body.

Court documents show Walker told investigators she used honey to help swallow the 54 pellets, an idea she got while watching the movie 'The Mule.'

Walker was arrested on suspicion of smuggling cocaine.
