“I’m a big fan of Tom Brady, always have been,” Marino told WEEI 93.7 FM. “I’ve known him for a lot of years. My perception of him is he’s one of the greatest players at that position to ever play. That is not going to change.”

Marino also elaborated on his indifference over football inflation levels.

“When the game started I usually, whatever the ball was, I threw it,” Marino said. “I didn’t even think about it. You got so many other things to think about. The last thing would be … the proper air in a football. I used to pick them during the week, like every other quarterback does. It’s always been that way.”

The legend has spoken — Tom Brady, despite his ball-pressure issues, is still one of the best to ever sling it.
