MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) — Yellow crime scene tape surrounded a Miami Beach hotel’s pool Monday after a person was found unresponsive inside.

Miami Beach Police said said the man was found in one of the pools at the Fontainebleau Hotel located at 4441 Collins Avenue just after 9 a.m.

Officers said he was found in swim clothes.

Rescue crews rushed the man to Mount Sinai Hospital on life support. He later died.

Chopper4 was over the scene as officers investigated the case. Investigators were seen talking to people around the pool.

The hotel issued a statement on the investigation, saying “The hotel is currently working with authorities in regards to the incident.”
