BSO Bailiff Arrested On Child Porn Charge

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- A Broward Sheriff's bailiff is under arrest and facing at least one charge relating to child pornography.
Authorities arrested Brian Preston, 24, a pre-trial bailiff for the sheriff's office, on May 1st.
He is now facing charges including possession of obscene material showing child sex conduct.
According to his arrest report, Preston admitted that he "viewed numerous images and videos of child pornography on-line" between 2003 and 2008.
The report also states Preston said he set up a web camera to record masturbating and used the videos to get aroused.
Preston, who has been with the department since June 2014, was suspended without pay.
His bond is set at $75, 000.
Preston is set to be arraigned on June 5th. He is currently being held in the Sarasota County Jail.
