Drivers Learn More About Ongoing I-75 Construction

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- If you've driven on I-75 lately, you've likely noticed the ongoing construction.
The project to add express lanes and additional sound barriers is well underway, and on Tuesday night, drivers got to ask questions about the roadwork.
The Florida Department of Transportation sponsored the informational meeting at the Country Club of Miami.
The entire project costs $481 million and is expected to be completed by late 2019.
When it's done, the current median will include two express lanes in each direction with multiple entry and exit points along the interstate.
