Sean Michael Stacey, 37, was working outside the Plantation Key jail as a maintenance trusty for Monroe County Public Works when he went missing.
Stacey, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, was last seen in the area of High Point Road on Plantation Key at 4 PM. His orange jumpsuit was recovered nearby.READ MORE: FBI Releases Suspect Pictures Of Not One, But Two Separate Bank Robberies
Police describe Stacey is 6-feet-tall, 200 pounds with blue eyes and short red hair.
Stacey has been in jail since September 2014 on charges of burglary, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
