DORAL (CBSMiami) -- An investigation is underway after two men were found stabbed in Doral.

Police said a man used a sword to attack another man but the victim fought back, ending up with both men stabbed in the end.

Officers said they responded to the scene of a stabbing around. 1 p.m. Both of the men had to be airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center but the sword was still seen on the ground.

But the two men, apparently, have a history.

Officer said, on Sunday morning, they responded to the same scene, an apartment located at 5201 Geneva Way, over a dispute.

One of the men, armed with two knives, attacked the victim, according to police. The armed man was overpowered by other people and later left the scene. He was later arrested and charged with aggravated battery.

On Wednesday, police said, the same armed man returned to the victim's apartment, this time armed with a gun. When police got there, the victim said the man had shot at him.  Officers could not find the armed man.

"That happened two times already and they told me there's a person there with a gun. You know? And it's not a really good person..Yesterday was just a shot," said a neighbor.

A day later, officers said the armed man returned to the victim's apartment, this time armed with a sword and stabbed the victim. The victim had armed himself with a sword/long knife and also stabbed his aggressor.

Both men were rushed to the hospital. The armed man is listed as critical with life threatening injuries while the victim has non-life threatening injuries.

As of 5 p.m., detectives and crime scene investigators were at the scene collecting evidence and speaking with witnesses.
