MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Hot, fresh sizzling, made-to-order and served fast--that's the concept behind Blaze Pizza.

Blaze Pizza, off North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, is the first of three in South Florida. There are 50 across the country.

Adam Cumis is one of several partners in the California-based company that includes basketball star LeBron James as an investor as well.

"When you come to Blaze, you get an 11-inch pizza . We make the dough fresh. You can get whole wheat crust or gluten free. You get 40 different ingredients to choose from," Cumis said. "The pizza is baked in our 180 degree oven in three minutes. $7.95 is the most you will pay for your pizza."

Cumis said it should take just under eight minutes from the time a customer orders, to the time their pizza is ready.

"The best we've ever done in our company is 175 pizzas in an hour," Cumis said.

Customers can order any one of the eight signature pizza or build their own choosing from seven cheeses, eight proteins , 20 vegetables and three sauces.

"We have meatballs pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, red onions, banana peppers, should I stop or keep going?" joked Cumis.

CBS4's Lisa Petrillo is getting the "Art Lover's" signature pizza and "The Build My Own Pizza." She chose classic red sauce with mozzarella, ricotta, spinach and Kalamata olives and in just under eight minutes, her pizza is ready as promised.

The "Art Lover" has mozzarella and ricotta cheeses mixed with chopped garlic and artichokes with dollops of marinara.

"I like the dollops of sauce. It's not everywhere, it just gives you the flavor when you want it," Petrillo said.

Then it's time for her personalized pizza.

"The salt of the olives and the creaminess of the mozzarella and ricotta and then the sweet taste of the marinara is delicious. I created a masterpiece." Petrillo said.

The meal ends with a melty and delicious S'more Pie.

Blaze is opened 7 days a week lunch and dinner. For more info: www.blazepizza.com/
