MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A large crowd has gathered outside the Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami ahead of Sen. Marco Rubio's big announcement—but not all are singing his praise.

Many of the protestors are chanting and holding up signs, protesting Rubio's stance on immigration.

"Undocumented and unafraid, show me what democracy looks like," protestors chanted.

The protestors said Rubio, when it comes to immigration, is a flip-flopper. Many holding signs saying Rubio's dream is their nightmare.

"I'm actually DACAmented and if Marco Rubio were to take DACA away he would leave me in jeopardy of being deported," said Mayra Rubio, no relation to Senator Rubio. "He's always flip-flopped and we are here to let him know that if he does not support DACA and DAPA most likely he will not have the Latino vote which is very important especially in the state of Florida."

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) were both announced on November 20, 2014 by President Barack Obama.

The group started in front of the Freedom Tower and was eventually escorted across the street, in front of the American Airlines Arena.

Also outside the Freedom Tower were people protesting on climate change issues.
