HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – A 6-year-old child nearly drowned on Sunday at a water park in Hollywood.

Lifeguards reportedly found the boy face down and motionless in a pool inside T.Y. Park, located at 3300 N Park Rd.

"They pulled him out of the pool," said Dina Park, "They were trying to resuscitate him, doing CPR. At some point I saw the life guards, like, cheering."

Paramedics arrived and took the boy to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

"It was so sad. Especially today, Easter," said Knight.

Park guests said they were not sure who had accompanied the child to the park. In fact, they said, after the child was found and pulled from the water, everyone else was ordered out of the pool so that all parents could be matched with their children.

Later in the day crime scene investigators from the Hollywood Police Department took photos of the pool, but didn't reveal any details of their investigation.

It is unclear if the boy jumped or boy fell into the pool.
