MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  The 23-year old daughter of Bruce Springsteen and Patty Scialfa has taken her talents to the tracks.

Jessica Springsteen has traveled the world  for horse show jumping competitions.  Last year, she competed at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Monaco.

"I've done a bunch of other global shows in Europe and they are always so beautiful and so well done, I'm excited it's come to the states," said Springsteen.

This year, celebrating its 10th anniversary, she's back with the Global Champions  Tour as it makes its debut on  the sands of South Beach on a specially built stage behind the Setai Hotel.

"This is amazing. We're right on the beach,  you can't ask for anything better." she said.

The horses and riders have traveled from all  over the world.  Judges make sure the animals are healthy and sound by doing a daily vet check.  The animals are also getting used to sights and sounds of South Beach.

"We have all the best stars competing from Europe  and the world. There are Olympic Champions, World Champions.  We have all best stars in Miami. It's amazing to have this here, " said Jan Tops, the President of Longines Global Champions Tour.

Show jumping has basic rules. The aim is to jump over all the obstacles under an allotted time without knocking anything down. Alicia and her horse haul from Geneva, Switzerland.

"It is so unbelievable. I'm so excited to be here on South Beach. My horse has been watching the sea the whole morning," Alicia said.

For Jessica, it's three days of intense jumping competitions and of course  fun.

"Will your parents come and watch you?" asked CBS4's Lisa Petrillo.

"They do come to  a lot of shows. They are in Palm Beach now so I think they'll  come up for a day," said Jessica.

The  Longines Global Tour is on through Saturday.  For more info, click here.
