MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) — The Miami Dolphins added some much needed depth to their linebacking corps on Thursday.

Free agent linebacker Spencer Paysinger has signed with the Dolphins, bolstering one of the problem positions on an aging defense last season.

Paysinger, who signed Thursday, is a four-year veteran with 14 career starts, all for the New York Giants in 2011-14. He has seen significant action on special teams.

Paysinger was undrafted out of Oregon.
