MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Cameras captured the daring rescue of two kayakers who were left stranded in South Florida waters.

Miami-Dade Rescue crews said the two people, who had been reported missing, were rescued Wednesday night just before 11 p.m.

Crews were able to locate the two victims who had been left stranded after their kayaks began to take in water and later sank just north of Petro Point on Elliot Key.

In the video, you see crews working to lift the men off the ground and onto the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter.

The two men were hoisted up and checked out.

The two victims were later reported to be in good condition.
