Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Elderly Woman Still At Large

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --A man who possibly tried to sexually assault an elderly woman in Miami is still at large.

Miami Police are asking for the public's help to identify the man who allegedly walked into the woman's  home uninvited on March 19th after she had left her door open.

Detectives said the woman was inside her home when she was startled by a man walking towards her from her living room area.

He then, according to the victim, forced himself on her and tried to sexually assault her.

The woman started shouting and was able to free herself from him. After much struggle, the man ran away.

Police said they are looking for a black man described as being between his 20s and early 30s. He is about 5'8" to 5'9" tall with a slim build and long, black  braided hair with big brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red tank top, dark shorts, black tennis shoes and a fingerless glove on his left hand.
