Miami Beach Water Main Break Prompts Precautionary Boil Water Order

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A water main break in Miami Beach caused traffic Wednesday morning, and prompted a precautionary boil water order for some residents.
Crews were working in the area of 17th Street and Alton Road where the break happened.
The precautionary boil water for the immediate area, which impacts 300 people, is in effect until Saturday.
Traffic in the area was detoured while the mess was cleaned up. Crews were able to stop the water flow Wednesday morning.
