Mega Job Fair Wednesday At BB&T Center

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) - More than 40 top companies from across South Florida are looking to fill 2,000 open positions at a career fair Wednesday in Sunrise.

The mega job fair will be held at March 18th at the BB&T Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Some of the companies and agencies looking to hire at the fair include Cellular Sales Verizon, Coral Springs Auto Mall, Aflac, Kent Security, Boston Market, the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department, Broward Sheriff's Office, Pollo Tropical, City Furniture and Carnival Cruise Lines.

Florida Department of Health will be looking to hire senior clerks, nurses, health services representatives and dental assistants.

Rick Case Automotive has immediate openings for 25 sales associates, service advisors, officer managers, auto technicians and finance managers!

City Furniture has immediate openings for interior designers, customer service reps, delivery drivers and sales associates.

Dress professionally and bring at least 30 copies of you resume.

Pick a few companies from this list and learn more about them online. The more you know about the company, the more you can converse with them at the event.

Make sure you visit every employer at the event and tell them what type of career you are interested in. If they do not have it available, they might be able to refer you to a company that does.
