MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A Florida golf course has gained some serious popularity after posting pictures of a massive alligator roaming around.
Myakka Pines Golf Club posted pictures on their Facebook page after they say a group of golfers spotted the gator.
The golfers said they were preparing to putt on the seventh hole when they spotted the gator heading to the pond on the other side of the green.
They decided to snap a few photos and posted them online where they quickly went viral with more than 500-thousand views in less than a week.
The golf course insists the gator and the photo are 100 percent real, saying on their Facebook page, “Lots of people think the pic is photo shopped….Nope! We just grown ’em big in these parts!!”
