MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A Miami high school was on lockdown Tuesday as police are searched for a reported weapon.

The lockdown at Miami Central Senior High School was lifted around 11:45 A.M., according John Schuster with Miami Dade Public Schools.

The search ensued after one student said another student had a weapon.

Police dogs and officers secured the school during the search.
