MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Two 18-year old men are under house arrest, accused of firing paintball shots at a South Florida school.

Joel Rodriguez, 18, and Juan Gil, 18, faced a judge Tuesday after being arrested for firing paintball shots in Miami Springs Senior High School on Monday afternoon.

Authorities said the shots hit the assistant principal and another person.

The two men are no students at the school.

The judge had stern words for them today in bond court

The judge ordered the two to be under house arrest except for attending school.

The judge told the boys to clean up their act or they will be "enjoying" some years behind bars.

According to the arrest report, Rodriguez  was the one firing the shots and Gil was driving the car. The Asst. Principal Alfred Torrossian was hit in the left arm and another teacher was hit in the upper right chest.

Students said there was some chatter about the incident on Tuesday at school.

"At lunch they were talking about someone getting shot with a paintball gun,"said student John Paz. "I think it was pretty bad . Don't know what was wrong with them."
