BONITA SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – Did the first flip-flop of the 2016 presidential campaign already happen? Well, if you count a candidate's mother, then the answer seems to be yes.

Barbara Bush, the mother of former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush, no longer feels there have been too many Bushes in the White House – as she stated two years ago.

According to the Naples Daily News, during a dinner for hundreds of her son's supporters Friday in Bonita Springs, Barbara Bush said she has changed her mind over a Skype chat with her son.

Jeb Bush then said, "Hey mom can I get that in writing?"

Since making the announcement he would actively explore the possibility of a presidential run, Jeb Bush has been very busy.

After stepping down from several key advisory positions, he formed the "Right to Rise PAC" political action committee. A move that sets the foundation for a potential 2016 bid.
