Enjoy The Cooler Temps This Week

CBSMiami (CBSMiami) - The start of the work week got off to a chilly start across South Florida with temperatures in the low 50s Monday morning in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The Keys woke up with the upper 60s.

The average low at this time of year is around 60 degrees.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds Monday with milder highs in the low 70s. A few showers will be possible as we have a cold front on the way. The wind will be increasing out of the West 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts to 25 miles per hour.

A reinforcing cold front will sweep through Monday night and we'll wake up to chilly temperatures in the 50s tomorrow morning.

Highs will be in the upper 60s on Tuesday.

We'll enjoy this taste of winter with plenty of sunshine through Wednesday with lows in the 50s. Highs will be milder near 70 degrees by Thursday.

Friday morning lows will be back to normal around 60 degrees with highs in the mid 70s.
