Child Airlifted After Hit By Car In Broward

BROWARD (CBSMiami) — A child has been airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a car  in Broward Sunday evening.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the 10-year-old boy was riding his bicycle near 860 NW 8th Ave. when he was hit at around 6:30 p.m.

The boy was conscious and alert when he airlifted to Broward Health North.

BSO said the driver remained on the scene.
