MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Local leaders are  set to distribute food Saturday in Miami to families in need.

City of Miami Commission Vice-Chair Keon Hardemon, along with Representative Cynthia Stafford, Senator Dwight Bullard and Miami-Dade County School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, will host a free Farm Share Food Distribution event.

The food will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.

The event is set to take place at the Charles Hadley Park located at 1350 NW 50th Street. It will start at 10:00 a.m. and finish at 1:00 p.m.
