ATLANTA (CBSMiami/AP) —  A food company is recalling more than 850 pounds of beef and chicken that were distributed in Florida.

The recall is due to misbranding and exposure to potential allergens.

Officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture say Kabob's Acquisition Inc. recalled about 869 pounds of meat that was produced between Nov. 13 and Thursday. Officials say the company's ingredient supplier said ground cumin spice that was used in production may have been contaminated with peanut residue.

The products carry the codes "EST. 6640" and "P-6640" inside the USDA mark of inspection and were sent to distribution centers in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Oklahoma and Texas for catering companies.
