MIAMI (CBSMiami) – MorningStar Farms is issuing a voluntary and precautionary recall of some of their products because they may inadvertently contain peanuts.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall, but, according to the Food and Drug Administration, MorningStar Farms was notified by a third party supplier that one of the spice ingredients used in Spicy Black Bean Burgers and Chipotle Black Bean Burgers may inadvertently contain peanut. The allergen is not declared on the products' ingredient statements.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if the products are consumed.

The products were distributed nationwide in the U.S. at both retail stores and through foodservice channels.
