FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Four people have been charged in the death a homeless man whose body was found floating in George English park.

William Peterson told police that 24-year old David Harrison and 24-year old Ashley Barrientos had an ongoing fight with Jerome Hart.

Harrison and Barrientos lived at Covenant House on the beach but frequented George English park, according to Peterson. On Sunday, January 4th, Harrison and Barrientos threatened to beat Harte and throw his body in the water along with all of his belongings, according to their arrest report.

Peterson said that night he was sleeping in the park when Barrientos and Harrison woke him up and told him he should leave right away.

The following morning when he saw all the police in the park, Peterson said he realized what had happened.

On January 5th, Harrison's mother reportedly contacted police and told them that her son and Barrientos had confessed to killing Harte. Both were taken into custody.

Ft. Lauderdale investigators also implicated two other people in Hart's murder: a 17-year old female and 18-year old Jean Cyma.

During questioning Cyma, 18, admitted to stomping on Harte and hitting him several times before he was thrown into the water, according to the police.

Harrison, Barrientos and Cyma have all been charged with murder. Police have not released the charges against Fulton.
