MIAMI (CBSMiami) — A boat turned over Friday leaving those on board sitting on the sinking ship waiting to be rescued.

Miami-Dade Fire rescue officials said the passenger on board the boat, five men, were out fishing for bait and all of a sudden the boat started taking on water.

They were able to call for help in time.

Just before 10:00 a.m . Miami-Dade Fire officials had arrived.

Chopper4 was over the scene as rescue officials helped the passengers.

Officials were not sure where the men were going when the boat overturned.

The boat eventually sunk.

Those rescued were taken to Watson Island.

No injuries were reported.
