MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Police are searching for the gunman or gunmen who shot a man standing by a park on Christmas Day.

Detectives said 19-year old David Munoz was standing on the sidewalk outside of Riverside Park at the time of shooting.

Just after 4:30 p.m., a black, four door vehicle, possibly an Audi, drove up and began firing several times, hitting him in the abdomen.

The car then sped off.

Rescue crews were able to get to Munoz and rushed him to Jackson Memorial Ryder Trauma Center where he is listed as in stable condition.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting and have no information on a possible suspect.
